about the author

A black and white portrait of a woman outdoors, wearing a wide-brimmed hat and looking at the camera with a slight smile.

I never planned to write a story like this.

I was a wife, building a life filled with ordinary joys and shared dreams, when cancer rewrote everything.

At 29, I said goodbye to my husband and stepped into a reality I never would have chosen.

In the months and years that have followed, grief has become both a companion and a teacher. It stripped away certainty, reshaped my faith, and led me into deeper places with God than I had ever known before.

I began writing not because I had answers, but because I needed to trace the threads of love, loss, and the quiet ways God was still present in the middle of it all.

This book is part of that remembering.
A testimony of heartbreak, yes— but also of grace, endurance, and a redemption story still unfolding.
